About this service
In modern devices, components are smaller than a millimetre and cannot be worked on safely with the naked eye. Microsoldering is the removal, replacement and repair of these tiny parts, connectors and circuit traces under a microscope with controlled temperature.
We repair faults such as charging ports, display and keyboard connectors, lifted pads and broken traces without replacing the board. Microsoldering is also the foundation of logic board repair, liquid damage repair and graphics card repair.
When should you contact us?
- Charging port is loose, broken or torn off the board
- Display or keyboard cable connector is damaged
- A component came off the board after a drop
- Pads or traces were damaged in a previous repair
- Corrosion after liquid contact has broken traces
What we do
How it works
-
01
Tell us about the problem
Describe your device and the issue through the service request form, by phone, WhatsApp or Viber. A photo or a short video speeds up the first assessment.
-
02
We examine the device
You bring the device to our workshop in Tivat, or send it by courier. We find the cause based on measurements, tests and, when needed, opening the device — not on guesswork.
-
03
We explain your options
We tell you clearly what is faulty, which solutions are possible, the price and the time needed. Whether to go ahead is entirely your decision.
-
04
We repair and test
After your approval we carry out the repair and test the device before handing it back. We explain what we did when you collect it.
Good to know
- Whether microsoldering is suitable depends on the condition of the board; we tell you clearly after examining it.
- On boards that have been worked on elsewhere, we assess the extent of the damage in advance.
Frequently asked questions
The charging port was torn off the board — can it be repaired?
In most cases, yes. If needed, we repair the torn pads and solder in a new port.
Is microsoldering the same as logic board repair?
Microsoldering is the technique used in logic board repair; finding where the fault is, is a separate step that is at least as important. We do both together.
Which devices do you work on?
MacBook, laptop and desktop motherboards, and graphics cards.
