About us
Computer service, software and web in Tivat — since 2021
Smod Home DOO is a computer and electronics repair company founded in Tivat. In our workshop we repair Apple (MacBook, iMac, Mac mini) and Windows laptops and desktops, and we develop software and websites for businesses.
Our story
We founded Smod Home in Tivat in 2021. Our goal was simple: to be a repair service where people living and working on the Bay of Kotor can safely leave their computers — one that does the job well and explains every step clearly.
Today we look after Apple and Windows computers for customers from Tivat, Kotor, Budva, Herceg Novi and the rest of Montenegro. Besides maintenance and part replacement, we also do board-level repair and data recovery.
Over time, the businesses whose computers we looked after also brought us their software and web needs. That's why, alongside the repair service, we also offer custom software, websites and digital services.
Why Smod Home?
How we work
The biggest problem in the repair business is trust. We show you every step clearly.
Nothing done without your approval
We find the fault and tell you what needs to be done and the price. We don't start the repair until you approve.
Repairs with microscope and schematics
We don't swap parts on a guess. We find the source of the fault with board schematics and measuring equipment.
Genuine Apple parts option
Genuine Apple parts or quality compatible parts for MacBook and iMac repairs: the choice is yours.
Tested before hand-over
After the repair we test the device under load and measure its temperatures before handing it back.
